We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Korean food cooking class. This class will give you an opportunity to learn about the traditional Korean cuisine and to prepare some of the most popular Korean dishes. 
Korean cuisine is known for its bold and diverse flavors, incorporating a wide range of spices, sauces, and ingredients that create a unique and delicious taste profile. The cuisine is based on a balance of flavors, with the key elements being spiciness, sweetness, saltiness, and umami, which is a savory taste. The cuisine also focuses on using fresh, seasonal ingredients, which makes it healthy and nutritious.
Korean food is famous for its iconic dishes such as kimchi, bibimbap, bulgogi, and Korean fried chicken, among others. These dishes are not only delicious but also have cultural significance, as they represent the country's history and traditions. Korean cuisine has also gained popularity worldwide due to its unique taste and health benefits. Additionally, Korean food has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, making it accessible to people with different dietary preferences. Overall, Korean food offers a flavorful and healthy culinary experience that is not to be missed.

During the class, you will learn how to prepare different Korean dishes.Here are some possible dishes:
Kimchi - a traditional Korean side dish made of fermented vegetables. We make kimchi in every cooking class.
Bibimbap - a rice bowl dish topped with vegetables, meat, and a fried egg.
Japchae - a dish made with glass noodles, vegetables, and meat.
Bulgogi - a grilled marinated beef dish.
Tteokbokki - a spicy rice cake (dumplings) dish.
Kimchi Jjigae - a spicy and savory stew made with kimchi, tofu, and pork or seafood.
Jjajangmyeon - a popular Korean-Chinese dish made with noodles and a thick black bean sauce with pork and vegetables.
Kimchi pancakes - made with well feremnted kinchi and served with soysauce with vinigar.
Gimbap - Korean sushi rolls filled with vegetables, egg, meat or fish.
Our experienced cook from Korea will guide you through the cooking process step-by-step, sharing tips and tricks to help you create delicious Korean dishes at home. The class will take place usually second sunday in muddle of month at Dolenjska cesta 419, Škofljica. All the necessary ingredients and cooking tools will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Spaces for this class are limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot (links down bellow).
